1) Venice

2) Ravenna
The city of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna, is considered the world capital of the mosaic. Many monuments of Byzantine style are to be discovered: Saint-Apollinaire-le-Neuf Basilica, Galla Placidia Mausoleum, Orthodox Baptistery
3) The Amalfi Coast
Its relief is incredible. The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, is located in the province of Salerno. Some municipalities are worth visiting: Ravello, Amalfi, Positano.
4) The Dolomites
This massif in the southern eastern pre-Alps is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. There are numerous regional parks as well as hiking trails for walks that will make your eyes full.
5) The archaeological site of Pompeii
This city of the Roman Empire, situated in Campania, had been destroyed during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Having become an archaeological site, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this place has a lot to say about its history. An indispensable one!
6) The village of Riomaggiore
This municipality in the province of La Spezia in the Liguria region is part of the so-called "Cinque Terre" (Cinque Terre). The houses of fishermen and towers in warm colors make this village completely atypical. A visual wonder.
7) The Castel del Monte
The Castel del Monte is a 13th century Italian castle built by the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, Frederick II of Hohenstaufen, in Puglia. An amazing architecture for a building not to be missed.
8) San Leo
San Leo is a small village in the province of Rimini where there is a magnificent fortress of the same name, with a castle culminating atop a rocky peak overlooking the town.
